Pricing & Value
- Antique Fair does business with six different buyers in France. It creates a variety of style and a competitive edge on our competition.
- We want to be available for the great pieces. Since the beginning we've learned our clients are not bargain hunters but rather people that appreciate the finer things.
- Antique Fair considers bargain furniture bought on a cost basis alone is a bad investment. The bargains will always have to be sold at a bargain price.
- On the other hand, great merchandise is a rare commodity and is and always will be in high demand.
- A good rule of thumb on how to price antiques is to compare the price of new furniture of close to equal size and construction and price both. If the better value leans toward the antique then it's elementary. Go for it!
